The work of assembling the “High Throne”, where the Emperor ’s Majesty is climbed, will be released to the press on the 6th for the first time at the “Courtesy of the Holy Imperial Court” held next month with the Emperor ’s throne.

The published “Taiko-za-za” was created more than 100 years ago in line with the Emperor Taisho ’s throne. "The Emperor goes up and says the word that declares the throne in and out.

The "Takamyoza" was used in the ceremonies associated with the throne after the Emperor Taisho together with the "Ocean stand" that the emperor climbs, and has been stored at the Kyoto Imperial Palace. They were taken to the Imperial Palace, where lacquer repainting and decoration repairs were carried out.

Assembling began in the “pine space” from the end of last month, and on the 6th, eight pillars were installed to support the roof of “Kōza” as the work was first disclosed to the press.

The pillars are nearly 4 meters in length, with black lacquering and golden decoration, and the workers carefully set up two pillars fixed in parallel with each other by nine people. It was inset.

"Takamiza" is expected to be completed this month along with "Gotendai" which is being assembled next door.
