Narita Airport LCC Terminal 3 was expanded and started operation September 5th, 12:16

In order to alleviate the congestion due to the increase in users, the third terminal dedicated to LCC = cheap airline at Narita Airport was expanded and began operation on the 5th.

Terminal 3 at Narita Airport opened four years ago, and new flights and flights increased one after another. The number of users in the previous fiscal year was approximately 7.26 million, surpassing the initial estimate by more than 100,000.

Therefore, Narita Airport Company decided to expand the terminal, and this time a new arrival lobby was set up on the first floor. Until now, both passengers for departure and arrival flights have been structured to pass through the second floor, but those who arrive at Terminal 3 from the 5th will be able to go out through the first floor as they are. As a result, the airport company says it helps to eliminate congestion.

The arrival lobby also has a wireless communication = Wi-Fi rental counter and a baggage delivery counter.

A 48-year-old office worker man who arrived from Hokkaido said, “I used to walk outside for a long time, so it was convenient.”

Noriaki Numata, Manager of the Narita Airport Company Passenger Terminal Department, says, “I want to continue to expand Terminal 3 and get more users.”
