An international study, conducted by the research group «ASPPREE» research, found that taking aspirin is not useful for older people with cardiovascular disease.

"Aspirin is not good for patients over the age of 70, but may be harmed because taking it daily can lead to haemorrhage because of its low blood density," said Christopher Reid of Monash University in Australia.

The risk of bleeding includes even healthy people who take aspirin daily, according to a study presented at the European Heart Association conference in Paris.
