A recent survey revealed that Japanese tourists are very welcome in Europe. The survey, published today, showed that tourists from Japan are welcomed warmly, whether in Britain, France, Finland or Spain.
According to the German news agency DPA, Japanese tourists received the highest percentage of respondents, with 26% of Finns, 18% of French and 12% in Germany and Spain saying that Japanese were the most positive visitors to their country.
On the other hand, German tourists do not receive the same degree of hospitality, with 6% of those surveyed in Spain, a favorite destination of German tourists, that they prefer the German tourist while the Japanese tourist received twice the hospitality of the Spanish (12%). Russian and British tourists are unpopular.
The poll was conducted by the YouGov Institute for Measuring Opinion Indicators and surveyed 29,004 people from 26 countries over 18. The poll was conducted from June 28 to August.
