The 17th edition of the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition 2019 was full of exhibits designed specifically for hunting professionals and enthusiasts.

Attracted by the visitors of the exhibition, which concluded today, a hand knife worth 50,000 dirhams characterized by precision and beauty of the scene.

The process of making the knife, which is only one piece in the world, takes about eight months, and is of the type «William Henry» US, according to the United Arab Emirates Tamrin company agent in the United States.
"What distinguishes this knife is that it is going through 800 steps during the manufacturing phases, while the blade is made in Japan by one of the most famous samurai swords manufacturers," said Mohammed Al Amiri, executive director of the Emirates Exercise Company.
He added: «engraved on the knife decorations Japanese painting known as (Emaki) inlaid with gold and precious stones, as the accuracy of manufacturing up to less than a tenth of the thickness of human hair».

Amiri said that what raises the price of the knife is inlaid with rare gems and gold in addition to making its blade of iron «essence», a combination of three types of iron withstands shocks with ease of age.

It takes only a week to produce the blade, then cut it with water and send it to Japan for one year and then return to America to complete the final manufacturing process.

He explained that the knife blade consists of 270 layers of iron while the handle is made of iron «essence» also inlaid with mother of pearl and ivory Mammut decorated with ancient Japanese art.
