Messages about the August frosts in Moscow on the night of August 29 were not confirmed. According to the website of the Hydrometeorological Center, frosts have so far been registered only in the northern regions of Russia. Their reason was the extensive anticyclone, which brought cold air from the Barents Sea. Minus temperatures on the night of August 28 were noted in the Arkhangelsk region and the Komi Republic. In Moscow, the night was cool, but without frost.

“The next nights will become less cool, and the daytime readings of the thermometers will increase slightly: on Friday and Saturday (August 30-31 . - RT ) with light wind in the capital + 22 ... + 24 ° C and + 20 ... + 25 ° C in the suburbs ", - the Hydrometcentre explains.

As the scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center Roman Vilfand said in an interview with RT, on August 30 and 31 it is expected +22 ... + 24 ° С, without precipitation.

“In early September, the temperature will rise again,” he explained.

On Knowledge Day, September 1, good clear weather is expected in Moscow and the region.

“There will be summer weather around + 25 ... + 26 ° С. It is very important that the night temperature will be around + 10 ... + 15 ° C, so the morning will not be cold, it will be sunny, ”Wilfand TASS quotes.

Light rain and high pressure

On Friday, August 30, in Moscow it is expected +22 ... + 24 ° С, then in the week the temperature will slightly increase to + 23 ... + 25 ° С. About this RT told the chief specialist of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia Marina Makarova.

“Today (August 29th - RT), the north-west wind is moderate, 5-10 m / s, but everything is already subsiding, then a mild wind of about 2-7 m / s. On Sunday (September 1. - RT), not a little short rain is possible in some places, ”the meteorologist explained.

At the beginning of next week, September 2, there will be no precipitation. At night, the temperature will be +10 ... + 15 ° С, in the afternoon the air temperature warms up to +21 ... + 26 ° С. The temperature will begin to rise in the afternoon.

In addition, in the capital, according to Makarova, "a large daily temperature course, high atmospheric pressure" is expected. Thus, August will end with quite comfortable weather.

As noted in the Hydrometeorological Center, the cyclone from the European part of Russia will shift to the Urals, therefore, heavy rains are expected there on August 29-30. Heavy rainfall will occur in the Tyumen, Omsk, Novosibirsk and Kurgan region, as well as in the Altai Territory. It will be cool due to rains and high cloudiness, the daytime temperature will not exceed + 8 ... + 14 ° С, at night the thermometer columns will drop to + 3 ... + 9 ° С. Until September 1, similar weather will be observed in the north of the Ural Federal District

“But for these northern latitudes, such a temperature, for example, for the north and east of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug and the east of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug, is considered above the norm by 2-3 ° C. So the summer, despite the rains, continues in some places in the Ural region, ”the site of the Hydrometeorological Center says.

Weather on Knowledge Day

According to Tatyana Pozdnyakova, Chief Specialist of the Moscow Weather Bureau, warm air began to flow into the capital region from August 29. This helps to establish comfortable weather.

“The north wind has changed to the west, we are located near the center of the anticyclone. There are not many clouds during the day (August 29. - RT), and the summer sun still works. Therefore, dry air warms up quickly, ”explained Pozdnyakova.

In the following days - Friday, Saturday and Sunday - there will be an increase in night and day temperatures. The most comfortable weather, according to experts, will be on Sunday and Monday, September 1-2. In the morning, the air temperature warms up to + 13 ... + 15 ° С, and the maximum daily temperature will exceed +25 ° С.

“So the weekend will be quite July weather,” the chief specialist of the Moscow Weather Bureau concluded.

Earlier, the weather forecaster told RIA Novosti that on Knowledge Day, as well as the first school day, which falls on September 2 this year, Muscovites and residents of the region expect very warm weather without precipitation.
