Stieg Larsson wrote the first three Millennium books before his death. Now David Lagercrantz has released his third and final book in the follow-up Millennium series, She Who Must Die, and will henceforth write about a brand new novel hero.
Hedlund Agency, which previously represented Lagercrantz, confirms that interest is high.
Norwegian hotel magnate Petter Stordalen is also a partner in the publisher Strawberry Publishing - one of those eager to continue on the series, according to data from Expressen.
It is Stieg Larsson's brother Joachim Larsson, CEO of Moggliden AB, who together with his father owns the coveted rights to the Millennium.
- We have been contacted by four different publishers, but nothing has been written yet. We go and build on it and see what is best, he tells Expressen.
