A large number of Asian expatriates residing in the central region of Sharjah, who packed their bags in preparation for traveling to their countries during their annual holidays, were surprised by the lack of reservations in their names at one of the airlines that were prepared to travel on their flights, where they discovered that they were victims of fraud and fraud by someone working for A tourist company in Al-Dhaid city after they deluded them that they had special offers to reserve seats at the lowest and cheapest prices. 21 of the affected people reported to Al Dhaid Police Station that they were victims of fraud and fraud.

The Central Region Police, which received the reports, immediately formed a security team to search, investigate and apprehend the suspect, who disappeared completely after he seized the victims' money, changed the location of his residence and switched off his phone. He admitted to committing the crime justifying that he faces debts of more than one hundred thousand dirhams where he resorted to this method in an attempt to pay his debts! He stated that he was already making reservations to go and return from the airline to those wishing to travel, but does not supply the amounts received by the company where the booking procedures are automatically canceled by them.

Colonel Hamad Abdullah Al Riyami, Acting Director of the Central Region Police Department, called on the members of the community to ascertain the nature of the entities they deal with, not to respond to the temptations provided by the fraudsters, and to follow the proper steps and procedures. In carrying out such transactions, he stressed the continued efforts of Sharjah Police in pursuing and arresting the perpetrators of crimes, whatever their tricks and methods in committing their crimes and actions.
