At least five people were killed in a stampede during rapper Draghi Abdel Raouf's concert in Algiers, a hospital source said.
Thousands gathered at the singer's concert, known as Solking, in a sports stadium in Algeria.
Meanwhile, local news reports said five people were killed and at least 70 others injured in a stampede preceding the concert by international singer Solking at the August 20 stadium in downtown Algiers.
More than 20,000 fans rallied at the August 20 stadium to follow rapper Soulking, while hundreds of people were unable to enter the stadium, state news agency DPA quoted Algerian news sites as saying.
