LONDON (Reuters) - Major fashion companies from around the world said on Wednesday they had signed an agreement to be presented to the Group of Seven summit to help protect the environment.
The agreement was signed by 32 companies, including Adidas, Burberry, Kering, Irmis, LVMH and Nike.
Environmental protection will be a key issue on the G7 agenda, as French President Emmanuel Macron and UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres expressed concern this week about the Amazon forest fires.
