House burnt down 2 deaths Elderly couple or Nagoya Aug 20 11:42
On the night of 19th, one house was burnt down in Kita-ku, Nagoya City, and two people died.
After 11:00 pm on the 19th, the family reported to the fire department that smoke was coming out at Toshiharu's (90) 's house. More than 10 fire trucks were extinguished and the fire was extinguished after about 6 hours. However, Hayashi's wooden 2-story house was completely burned out.
Due to this fire, two people were found out of the burn in cardiopulmonary arrest and transported to the hospital, but confirmed dead.
According to police, Mr. Hayashi lives with his wife Toshiko (85) and his eldest couple, and after the fire, they are unable to contact Hayashi and Toshiko. The police are exploring the cause of the fire while rushing to confirm that Mr. Hayashi and his wife have died.
The site is a residential area close to the border with Kasugai City, Aichi Prefecture, and when the fire broke out, the momentum of the fire was intense and the site was temporarily noisy.
