Police found a recording on the phone produced by Produce X101 that mentions text voting.
The JoongAng Ilbo reported that the police, which is conducting an investigation into the cable channel Mnet audition program 'Produce X101' text voting allegations, confirmed the recording file that directly mentioned the operation on the production mobile phone.
The Seoul National Police Agency's cyber investigation team seized and searched for the CJ E & M office and text voting data storage company in Sangam-dong, Seoul, last month. The production mobile phone, which was secured on the day, was also mentioned for the other seasons of the Produce 101 series, including the Produce X101.
On the 12th, the police conducted a second seizure search on CJ E & M's offices and crew's residence. The police are reportedly considering the CJ E & M charges against the crew.
On the 26th of last month, Mnet asked the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency to investigate after suspicion of manipulation of 'Produce X101' character voting.
