NHK News: Three China Coast Guard ships in the waters off Senkaku


According to the 11th Regional Coast Guard Headquarters, the Chinese Coast Guard was navigating the connected water area off the Japanese territorial waters off the Senkaku Islands in Okinawa Prefecture.

According to the 11th Regional Coast Guard Headquarters, one of the four ships of the China Coast Guard that was sailing off the coast of the Senkaku Islands in Okinawa Prefecture, just outside the Japanese territorial waters, was connected on the night of the 17th. Although they left the waters, the remaining three are still sailing.

As of 9 am on the 18th, the three ships are sailing approximately 35 kilometers north-northwest of the fishing island of the Senkaku Islands, so the Coast Guard Headquarters continues to warn and monitor the territorial waters.
