Satoshi Jin arrived in Bhutan on his first foreign trip, August 17, 17:47

Mr. and Mrs. Akishino and his eldest son, Rinjin, arrived in Bhutan, where they were traveling, and were welcomed by the three princesses and others who were greeted.

Mr. and Mrs. Akishino and Mrs. Akishino departed Japan on the 16th and arrived at Paro Airport in Bhutan on the morning of 17th local time via Thailand.

This is the second time that Mr. and Mrs. Bhutan have visited Bhutan since the official visit in 1997, and this was the first overseas trip for Jinjin.

At the airport, Akihito and Ariko Akishino who arrived first got off the talup and received a bouquet from local children.

Next, I greeted three princesses of King Wanchuk's sister, received a white cloth called “Kadar” with the meaning of welcome, and shook hands with each princess.

About 10 minutes later, Mr. Akishino also arrived at Paro Airport and got off the tarup with a smile.

After this, Satoshi-san walked on the red carpet while exchanging words with the princess following the couple, and was occasionally smiling.

On the 17th of the first day of the visit, Mr. and Mrs. Akishino and Mr. Minato met with members of the Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteers, who are active in Bhutan schools and hospitals, and visited the National Museum for traditional festivals. You can see the masks that are displayed.
