Mr. and Mrs. Akishino and Mr. Minato visited the National Museum in Paro, a local city in western Bhutan, on the afternoon of 17th local time.

In this museum, there are exhibits that symbolize the traditional culture of Bhutan, such as masks used by dancers at traditional Bhutan festivals and Buddha statues.

Among them, the museum director explained in English at the corner where colorful masks in the shape of animals such as sheep, bears and owls were displayed.

Mr. Minato listened carefully to the story that Noriko was supplemented, and was carefully looking at each mask.
