The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) today announced that July 2019 was the hottest month ever, with many parts of the planet experiencing unprecedented temperatures.

She explained that the average global temperature last July increased by 1.71 degrees Fahrenheit higher than the average temperature recorded in the "20" century of 60.4 degrees, making July the warmest temperature for 140 years.

He pointed out that a number of regions in the world this year were the hottest, including North and South America, Asia, Australia, New Zealand, southern half of Africa and parts of the Western Pacific and western Indian Ocean and the Atlantic Ocean.
