At 06:30 a.m. East Coast time on Saturday, August 10, guards at a Manhattan pretrial detention center discovered a corpse. Prisoner Jeffrey Epstein committed suicide in his cell.

MSNBC host Joe Scarborough responded to this event on Twitter: “The man who possessed information that could destroy the lives of rich and powerful people was found dead in a prison cell. How predictable ... in Russian! ”

Why in Russian? What generally connected Geoffrey Epstein with Russia, except for the fact that his maternal grandparents arrived in America from one of the Jewish towns in the western reaches of the Russian Empire?

The fate of the suicide of Epstein could be the plot for an exciting drama.

Jeffrey Epstein was a multi-millionaire, owned real estate in Paris and New York, an estate in Florida, a huge ranch in New Mexico and even two islands in the Caribbean. But he began his life in one of the poorest districts of New York at that time - Brooklyn, in a poor Jewish family of a gardener and a school nanny. And he finished - in a prison cell, where there was nothing but a bunk, a table and a toilet bowl in the corner.

Epstein once made friendships with the powers that be, such as he, the owners of countless states, famous and influential people in the Western world. His circle of friends included Bill Clinton and Donald Trump, the son of the Queen of Great Britain, Prince Andrew of York and former Prime Minister of Israel Ehud Barak. He was a generous sponsor of the Democratic Party - he donated about $ 140 thousand to it, but did not forget about the Republicans. He was especially loved in the state of New Mexico, where he financed the Democratic campaigns for the election of the attorney general, county sheriff and head of the land commission. In 2010, after Epstein was convicted for the first time and was ordered to register as a sex offender by court order, the New Mexico Department of Public Security sent him a kind notice that he was not required to register with this state.

Clouds over Epstein began to thicken in 2005 when a woman contacted the police department in Florida, reporting that the multi-millionaire paid her $ 14-year-old stepdaughter $ 300 for sexual services. The police received a warrant from Judge Palm Beach to monitor Epstein’s estate and even search his house. A lot of interesting things were discovered: in addition to the fact that Epstein himself liked to have fun with youngsters, he installed hidden cameras in the bedrooms - and not just to enjoy homemade porn. According to investigators, Epstein “borrowed” his young “princesses” to influential people, filmed their amusements on camera, and then used them for blackmail.

In the end, Epstein was charged with five points: four related to sex with minors and one related to child molestation. In aggregate, he could well have received a life sentence. The trial began, which lasted almost three years. This is where Epstein’s connections in the American elite came in handy: he was played by a powerful team of lawyers, among whom were one of the most brilliant US lawyers, professor at Harvard Law School Alan Dershowitz and the former special prosecutor who investigated the Clinton monikage, Ken Starr.

The efforts of this team, which received multimillion-dollar fees, were not in vain: instead of a life sentence, Epstein received 13 months in prison.

True, the methods used by Epstein’s lawyers were far from those used by lawyers in Hollywood films. For example, Alan Dershowitz hired private detectives who were digging the ground in search of incriminating evidence for underage girls who visited Epstein’s mansions, as well as student bloggers who wrote offensive comments on the pages of victims of multimillionaire social networks, which allowed lawyers to accuse them of indecent behavior, the use of marijuana and alcohol - in general, to expose not as an injured party, but as real "scum of society."

Epstein also helped that, on the advice of lawyers, he pleaded guilty to organizing prostitution and made a deal with the prosecutor's office. But the Florida Southern District Attorney, who agreed to the deal, helped even more - Alexander Acosta.

The son of Cuban immigrants, for some reason, was so drawn to the multimillionaire that he allowed him to leave the prison six times a week for 12 hours so that Epstein could go to his office. Later, the American media wrote that Epstein spent most of his prison term in his magnificent Florida estate. In general, Epstein managed to get out of the water dry.

Perhaps another in his place would have been more cautious. But Epstein was not like that.

He continued to take 14-year-old girls to his estates and mansions, collected photographs and videos falling under the definition of “sex with minors,” and turned one of his two islands in the Caribbean into an exclusive gated community for wealthy and influential pedophiles from around the world (the inhabitants of neighboring islands call this patch of land “Pedophile Island”, or “Orgy Island”). More and more teenage girls from 14 to 18 years old were regularly brought to this island. The plane, cruising between the island and the mainland, was called Lolita Express.

One of these "lolitas" - Virginia Roberts Gyuffrey - in 2015 filed a lawsuit against Epstein, claiming that he had kept her in sexual slavery since 15 years. More interestingly, Virginia fell into this “slavery” under the influence of Gislein Maxwell, Epstein’s girlfriend and - attention! - the youngest daughter of the infamous media magnate Robert Maxwell, who died under mysterious circumstances on his yacht off the island of Gran Canaria in 1991. A few years later, Roberts managed to escape from their "owners" - in Thailand, where she was sent "to continuing education", she met her future husband and flew with him to Australia. There she was found in 2011 by FBI agents.

Roberts told the investigators a lot of interesting things. She named the names of many influential and wealthy people who were somehow involved in the Epstein pedophile network. Among those with whom she was “forced to have sex ... there were numerous prominent American politicians, influential businessmen, presidents of foreign powers, and one well-known prime minister.” Her testimony, in particular, featured the name of Prince Andrew of York, who, as it turned out, was a frequent visitor to the island and a close friend of Epstein. She met on the estates of Epstein and former US Vice President Al Gore, as well as models and stars such as Naomi Campbell and Heidi Klum. And among those with whom Roberts, on the orders of Epstein, had sex, there was - surprise, surprise! - The same law professor at Harvard University Alan Dershowitz, who saved his client from life in prison in 2008.

However, in 2015, all references to Prince Andrew were deleted from the court record after a federal judge called them “insignificant and arrogant.”

But in 2016, the investigators struggled to get dirt from Roberts on Trump, which then was the main threat to the candidate from the Democratic Party - Hillary Clinton.

Alas, to no avail. Roberts, as follows from the declassified materials of the investigation (and this is more than 1,200 pages), claimed that "Trump did not participate in any of the episodes of sex with us (that is, with Epstein, Maxwell and her) and never flirted with me." She also stated that, despite the fact that Epstein had repeatedly said that he and Trump were “good friends”, she did not remember ever seeing Trump in the Epstein mansion on Palm Beach. When attorney Gislane Maxwell asked her what the statement was based on saying that Donald Trump is a good friend of Jeffrey (Epstein), Roberts innocently replied: "Jeffrey told me that Donald Trump is his good friend." However, together she never saw them.

But the flight magazines Lolita Express, which were at the disposal of journalists back in 2015, irrefutably testify that among the passengers flying on it was former US President Bill Clinton - and not just once, but as many as ten. Together with him, every time a certain Chontay Davis flew - a Hollywood actress who starred in films that were classified as "soft porn".

Particularly cynical on the Clinton list of these flights is a week-long tour of Africa, touted as a "tour against poverty and AIDS." In addition to Clinton and Epstein, Kevin Spacey, Chris Tucker and former President Gale Smith's confidant, who later served on the Barack Obama National Security Council, also participated. But if the participation of these stars can still be explained, then why did Chontey Davis, who appears in Epstein’s notebook under the heading "Massage - California", go to Africa with Clinton, it is much more difficult to understand.

Most surprisingly, these materials, published back in 2015, had no effect on the Hillary Clinton campaign, which, as the press wrote at the time, was “upset” that her husband’s name was connected with Jeffrey Epstein.

And the lover of the “strawberry” Epstein himself was almost not worried for almost four years (since 2015, when Roberts brought charges against him and Maxwell) because of a new investigation that threatened him.

But on July 6, 2019, he flew to New Jersey on his private plane and was arrested at the ramp by FBI officers. They say that for issuing an arrest warrant, Epstein should have “thanked” the editorial board of the Miami Herald newspaper, which had initiated a series of journalistic investigations. A few days later, the federal prosecutor accused Epstein of trafficking in human beings, namely, minor girls.

On July 12, Alexander Acosta, the former Attorney of the Southern District of Florida, who became Minister of Labor in the government of Donald Trump, resigned.

The reason is the too lenient sentence handed down to Epstein in 2008 and the violation of federal law (the prosecutor did not inform the victims that Epstein had made a deal with the investigation).

On July 23, 2019, Epstein was found unconscious on the floor of his cell with bruises on his neck. On July 25, according to the protocol, he was placed in the so-called suicidewatch mode - a round-the-clock surveillance mode that allows him to constantly monitor the prisoner's life activity.

On August 9, a Manhattan court decided to publish a 1,200-page dossier on a lawsuit filed by Virginia Roberts against Epstein and Gislane Maxwell. The names of some influential politicians and stars involved in Epstein's criminal activity are becoming known.

Two weeks after an unsuccessful suicide attempt, the suicidewatch regime was withdrawn from Epstein for unknown reasons. The prison authorities reported to the Ministry of Justice that Epstein would have a cellmate and that a guard would look into his cell every 30 minutes. However, these procedures were not followed on the night of Friday to Saturday. Epstein was in the cell alone, and the guard did not look at him every half hour. The result is known - Epstein nevertheless managed to carry out his plan and commit suicide.

Of course, the death of a multimillionaire in a prison cell agitated American society.

Democrats hastened to accuse Epstein of trump, who once called him “a great guy” in his misfortune (this was in 2002, long before the first trial of Epstein - Trump later disowned his Florida neighbor, saying that he never was his fan). The hashtag #TrumpBodyCount has appeared in social networks, that is, the "list of Trump corpses" - in spite of the infamous "Clinton list of corpses", which until recently included 81 names (a separate article should be written about this).

Trump just as predictably blamed the death of Epstein Hillary Clinton - not directly, however, but retweeted the recording of the black comedian Terrence Williams: “Jeffrey Epstein is dead! How can one commit suicide by being monitored 24 hours a week? He had information about the Clintons, and now he is dead! Who is not surprised yet? ”

Most abruptly, however, MSNBC host Joe Scarborough, quoted by me at the beginning of this article, spoke out who found that there was something “very Russian” in Epstein’s suicide. He is also echoed by The New York Times journalist George Tuckey: “It sounds like it happened in Russia.”

“Russia is a country located between Europe and Asia, a multi-purpose scapegoat for the West for decades, a disease of the liberal brain of the modern establishment,” wrote well-known writer, lawyer and journalist Glenn Greenwald on Twitter commenting on George Tuckey’s statement.

The Epstein file contains hundreds of names of rich and influential elitists, each of which, as Scarborough rightly observes, can now breathe a sigh of relief, but there are no Russians (or somehow connected with Russia) in it.

But it doesn’t matter!

It should be clearly understood that any high-profile crime committed in the United States or Western Europe will now be associated with Russia and the Russians. You can laugh at pictures with playful dogs assuring the owners that the sneakers are also bitten by Russians (Russiansdidit!), But we are dealing with a growing trend that threatens to completely turn our country into a global culprit of everything.

So the Hollywood actor Alec Baldwin, who had long and hopelessly turned on the topic of Donald Trump’s collusion with Russia, spoke very frankly: “The Russians killed Geoffrey Epstein. The Russians are now responsible for everything. ”

Clinton, Al Gore, Prince Andrew, and a good three dozen other representatives of the “civilized West” had fun on the estates, on the islands, and on the planes of the late Epstein. But, of course, the Russians are to blame.

However, there is another point of view.

Russian businessman Viktor Bout, convicted by a US court for 25 years on trumped-up charges of conspiracy with terrorist organizations, believes that Epstein could indeed have been killed, but traces of the murder lead to the US Democratic Party. In a telephone conversation with RT columnist Igor Molotov, Bout admitted that the “conspiracy theory” of Epstein’s death seems to him the most plausible.

Molotov: “Do you know Jeffrey Epstein? They say you were in the same prison with him? ”

Booth: “It's true, but I don't know what block he was in. There are also special departments where there is a very tough regime. There are six chambers and very tight surveillance (emphasized by me. - K. B. ). There are only single cameras. But they say that he had a cellmate. So he was just in isolation. There are usually two people ... It's not just that he took and hanged himself. You see, there hands grow from Israel, and here, in the USA, from the Democratic Party. We thought it would be risky if he starts talking, confessing, involving someone. ”

Of course, Victor Booth is hardly aware of all the details of the mysterious suicide of Jeffrey Epstein. But he spent several months in the temporary detention center in Manhattan - the very place where Epstein's life ended, so his point of view should be taken into account at least.

Russian lawmakers should pay attention to the mysterious death of Epstein, in which American anti-trumpists accuse our country. Why not the Russian State Duma adopt Epstein’s law, which, by analogy with Magnitsky’s law, imposes sanctions on members of the US judicial system, who either brought the millionaire to suicide or helped him go to the other world? At least the adoption of such a law will definitely raise the information wave. And it would also be possible to help Western journalists conducting an investigation of the same “list of Clinton corpses,” I think our intelligence agencies will have information that could shed light on many mysteries of this vast dossier.

It seems to me that Epstein passed away of his own free will. I just could not put up with the prospect of spending the rest of the days not on my own island among the 14-year-old “lolit”, but in a prison cell.

The author’s point of view may not coincide with the position of the publisher.
