Spanish police have found the body of a dead British millionaire's daughter in a swimming pool in a villa in the Spanish town of Alaro, Majorca reported.

The 18-year-old was spending her summer vacation with her friends and mother, the newspaper said.

Medics tried to rescue Klatcher after her body was found in a swimming pool after a night spent with friends but failed.

The details of the incident began when neighbors heard screaming sounds from inside the villa, informing emergency services that rushed to the scene, but failed to save the victim's life.

Rachel Clatcher, the victim's mother, is one of the founders of the global telephone answering service company Monibini, which is said to be worth more than £ 100 million.

The death of Josie, one of three sisters, who was a pupil at a luxury boarding school called Moreton Hall near Oswestry, is still under investigation.

A spokesman for the British Foreign Office confirmed that his country was in contact with the Spanish authorities, affirming his support for the victim's family.
