San Francisco Opera Cancels Placido Domingo Concert
San Francisco opera after canceled the concert on October 6 with the participation of the Spanish opera singer Placido Domingo amid allegations of sexual harassment. This is stated in a message published on the website of the opera house.
“The decision to cancel the concert was made after recent reports of numerous allegations of sexual harassment. Although these incidents did not occur within the walls of the San Francisco Opera House, the company cannot allow the artist to enter the stage of the Military Memorial Opera House, ”the report said.
Earlier, several women accused the Spanish opera singer and conductor Placido Domingo of sexual harassment. According to them, Domingo molested them at different periods of time since the 1980s.
The singer himself denies the charges against him.
