ASAP Rocky's first words after the verdict: "Of course I'm disappointed"
ASAP Rocky has made his first comment following today's announcement that he was convicted of assault. On Instagram, the rapper writes that he is "obviously disappointed" but that he will also move forward.
On Wednesday, the verdict came that American rapper ASAP Rocky, and two other people, are sentenced to conditional beatings. Together, they will pay the plaintiff a damages totaling SEK 12,500.
In a post on his Instagram account, the world star is now commenting on today's message:
“I'm obviously disappointed with today's verdict. Again, I want to say thank you to all my fans, friends and everyone who showed me love during this difficult time. ”His mother and lawyer were also disappointed
Furthermore, ASAP Rocky writes that he will "move forward" and also thank his team, employees, lawyers, record companies and everyone who "advocated justice".
Even ASAP Rocky's Swedish defense lawyer Slobodan Jovicic said earlier today that the verdict is disappointing. Likewise, the artist's mother, who in an interview with Expressen said "it doesn't feel good at all".
