In the evening of March 13, a man in his 30s was washed away in the Yoshino River in Yoshino Town, Nara Prefecture and died.

Before 4pm on the 13th, at the Yoshino River in Yoshino-cho Misono, there was a report to the police and others that "a man was swept into the river".

According to the police, a man was found at about 6:30 pm in the riverbed about 20 meters downstream about 5 meters deep, but confirmed dead.

The person who died was Tatsuya Miyazaki (33), a company employee in Tenri City, Nara Prefecture, who came to play with four high school friends from the morning of the 13th.

Mr. Miyazaki was swept away on the way back from the river, and the police are examining the situation at that time in detail.

The site is a place that flows through the mountains about 3 km southeast of Yoshino Town Hall.
