Amidst hot days, Koshigaya City, Saitama Prefecture is holding an event where you can enjoy shaved ice in Japan and overseas.
A large commercial facility in Koshigaya City, Saitama Prefecture has an event called “Local Shaved Ice Festival” where you can enjoy 65 types of shaved ice from 11 countries and regions in addition to Japan.
At the event, in addition to traditional and familiar Matcha shaved ice, confectioners at Western confectionery stores seasoned with unusual shaved ice wrapped in fresh cream and rolled cake, and mango juice called cotton candy (Men Men Pin) Taiwan's shaved ice, which was made by scraping ice and applying sweet syrup, was also popular.
In addition, there was a corner where children could experience making shaved ice at the venue, and the woman who visited said, “Today is hot, so I will try my second cup in the future”.
This event is open until 19th of this month.
