The Heritage Camel Course, organized by the Al Ain Youth Center of the Emirates Heritage Club, kicked off yesterday under the title "Experience of Grandparents Navigate Children".

The Director of the Al Ain Khalifa Butti Al Shamsi Center said that the importance of the course lies in providing students with experience and knowledge of their heritage in a tangible way after the theoretical explanation contributes to their understanding of the historical and social importance of each heritage item, before they have a practical experience of how the lives of parents and grandparents are old, which contributes to Refine and consolidate their identity.

He added that the programs and events of Al Ain Youth Center pay great attention to the students' heritage workshops to give them knowledge of their roots, customs and traditions, which will leave a deep impact on them and make their association with their homeland a part of their personality.

In its first week, the course explains the role of camel since ancient times in the UAE society and its importance in transport, food and drink, making it the mainstay of life for the UAE population.

The second week will include workshops on how to deal with camel, while the third week will be devoted to theoretical and practical explanation of the equipment and parts of the ride and how to put it. The last week is for students who have passed the previous three stages, where they will receive an explanation and practical application of the camel rides.
