The General Secretariat of the Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum International Photography Award has revealed the winners of the Instagram competition for the month of July, the theme of which was “Blue”.
Omani photographer Salim Al Wahaibi, who won the Sony Alpha a6300 Mirrorless Digital Camera from Sony Middle East, won the 'Public Choice Award'.
The July edition of the competition saw a quadruple win of the Indonesian lens, with photographer Elizabeth Jenny Tanner, photographers Andy Abdeljalil, Mohamed Faisal Hosni and Andika Putra.
From the UAE, the photographer Ahmed Ibrahim Al Zarouni, accompanied by Indian Abhishek Boruheit, as well as Turkish photographers Erdal Picara and Murat Ebranoglu, won.
The winners will receive a medal for the award and their photos and names will be published on the official account of the award on Instagram HIPAae.
Color head
For his part, said the Secretary-General of the Award, Ali Khalifa bin third: "The blue color is self-liking, and different interpretations concerning those who prefer this color to others, it is a major color in the summer season, where the sea and the sky associated with recreation, rest and tranquility."
