Fujairah Socio-Cultural Society organized a workshop on “Fundamentals of Japanese Language”, presented by the Executive Director of the Association's Language Club, Fakherah Abdullah Bin Dagher, as part of the activities of the Summer Academy for UAE Youth, on the sidelines of a sultry festival in Fujairah.

The workshop, hosted by the Fujairah Youth Center, targeted the 15-35 year olds to encourage them to learn languages, learn from the experiences and science of others, and bring the values ​​and sciences of the UAE to the world.

The workshop dealt with a set of basics needed by the novice in learning the Japanese language, focusing on writing, speaking and listening skills, and the differences between the characters of the Japanese language, such as «Hiragana» and «Katakana» and «Kanji», including explaining how to write the names of participants in letters « The katakana »on the grounds that their names are foreign and not Japanese.

Ben Dagher tackled the definitive form in which he could identify with others, as well as the daily conversations that can be used as a start to communicate with the Japanese people. The workshop concluded with a number of videos that shed light on the nature of Japanese life.

Fakherah Bin Dagher expressed her happiness with the interaction of the participants, which in turn reflected on the success and excellence of the workshop, pointing out that the event comes within the framework of the general plan adopted by the Fujairah Cultural Society to spread science, knowledge and culture of all kinds, so that the youth and girls of the UAE ambassadors of the country in all international forums .
