His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, issued an Amiri Decree on the establishment of the Khalid bin Sultan Al Qassimi Foundation for Humanitarian Affairs.

The Emiri Decree No. (23) for the year 2019 stipulates that a special institution for humanitarian works shall be established in the Emirate of Sharjah called "Khalid Bin Sultan Al Qasimi Foundation for Humanitarian Works", which shall be a non-governmental and non-profit institution with the legal personality and legal capacity necessary to achieve its objectives and direct its functions .

The name of the institution in English is as follows: "khalid bin Sultan AlQassimi Humanitarian Foundation". The headquarters of the Khalid bin Sultan Al Qasimi Foundation for Humanitarian Works is headquartered in Sharjah City and may be established by a decision of the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Foundation. The Foundation aims to commemorate the late Sheikh Khalid bin Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, the founder of the Foundation for Humanitarian Affairs, and to continue to realize his vision and aspirations in the service of humanitarian work.

1. Implementing sustainable programs and projects that serve humanity in all fields at the local and international levels.

2. Providing assistance to support and improve health care, education and infrastructure sectors.

3. Harness the financial resources of the Foundation for the benefit of humanity and help the needy and improve their living conditions.
4. Relief and relief of refugees affected by disasters and crises.

5. Contribute to honoring individual and collective achievements affecting humanitarian work in all fields.

6. Any other objectives or competencies assigned to the Foundation by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Foundation.

In accordance with the Emiri Decree, the Khalid Bin Sultan Al Qassimi Foundation for Humanitarian Affairs is managed by a Board of Trustees consisting of a Chairman, a Vice-Chairman and a number of members. The Board of Directors is appointed by a decree of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah,

1. Drawing up the general policies of the Khalid bin Sultan Al Qasimi Foundation for humanitarian work and developing plans for its development and supervision of its implementation.

2. Set up the internal and financial rules of the Foundation and other regulations and instructions necessary to regulate the organization's work, administration and control.

3. Issue decisions and take all actions that achieve the objectives of the institution or necessary to exercise its competencies.

4. Adoption of the general budget and final accounts of the institution.

5. Forming permanent and temporary committees and defining their tasks, terms of reference and working system.

6. Any other functions assigned by the Ruler of Sharjah.

The Foundation shall be appointed by a decision of the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Foundation upon the approval of the Board of Trustees of the Foundation shall be accountable to him in the performance of his duties, and shall assume the powers and powers necessary to manage the affairs of the Foundation and take the necessary decisions to achieve its objectives,

1. Management of the Khalid bin Sultan Al Qasimi Foundation for Humanitarian Work and the development of its work system by implementing the general policies established by the Board of Trustees of the Foundation and the decisions issued by it.

2. Proposing the general plans to ensure the development of the Khalid bin Sultan Al Qassimi Foundation for humanitarian work and achieve its progress and the good use of its resources and presentation to the Board of Trustees of the Foundation to decide what he sees on them.

3. Proposing the financial and administrative regulations of the Foundation and the internal work systems and any amendments thereto and submitting them to the Board of Trustees of the Foundation for taking the necessary action thereon.

4. Proposing the general budget and final accounts of the institution and presenting them to the Board of Trustees of the Foundation.

5. The order to disburse from the approved funds of the institution in accordance with the limits and powers determined by the financial regulations of the institution.

6. Representing Khalid bin Sultan Al Qasimi Foundation for humanitarian work in local, regional and international meetings, in contacts, correspondence, in relations with others and before the judiciary.

7. Preparation of periodic reports on the progress of work in the institution of Khalid bin Sultan Al Qasimi for humanitarian work and presented to the Board of Trustees of the Foundation.

8. Any other functions or competencies assigned to him by the Board of Trustees of the Foundation or the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Foundation.

The Amiri Decree set the financial resources of the Khalid bin Sultan Al Qasimi Foundation for Humanitarian Works as follows:

1. The amounts allocated to the Foundation from the estate of the late Sheikh Khalid bin Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi "May Allah be pleased with him".

2. Donations, donations, subsidies, grants, wills and endowments.

3. Proceeds from investing the funds of the Khalid bin Sultan Al Qasimi Foundation for Humanitarian Works.

4. Savings realized in the budget of the Foundation for previous years.

5. Any other resources consistent with the objectives of the Khalid bin Sultan Al Qasimi Foundation for Humanitarian Affairs and accepted by the Board of Trustees of the Foundation.

The Khalid Bin Sultan Al Qasimi Foundation for Humanitarian Works is exempted from all local government taxes and fees of all types and forms except for consumer fees.

This Decree shall come into effect from the date of its issuance, and the concerned bodies shall implement it in its respective fields and shall be published in the Official Gazette.
