I remember Leonid Ilyich Brezhnev said the following phrase: "The economy must be economical." Kitchen jokes like “Oil should be oily”, “Asphalt should be asphalt” and “Insanity should be marasmic.” Hearing another statement by the President of Ukraine, he immediately recalled the General Secretary of the Central Committee of the CPSU, whose rule Zelensky, due to his youth, simply cannot remember.
And in this speech, which many considered healthy, Zelensky spoke about the need to start a campaign with which many in Ukraine are already well acquainted. Why are there in Ukraine! Shots of shoving in garbage containers of spat upon officials and deputies of the Square went around the whole world. I remember that a familiar Norwegian asked me: “Is this a theater or are they so wild?” After a little thought, he replied that this was a new European political culture and its guides and propagandists. So, President Zelensky decided to talk about his pain. That is how he began his ardently erotic speech.
Yes, the Ukrainian commander-in-chief sews the threads of eroticism into any of his appeals in order to distract from the preparation of borscht and dumplings of Ukrainian housewives. They are scrubbing cabbage, making dumplings, while they themselves roll their eyes to the ceiling and enjoy the charming hoarseness of the head of state. But the head was sad for the officials and lustration. Here is what he said: “Why do we need deputies who leave immunity, legitimize illegal enrichment, just do not go to work? Why do the ministers say that Ukrainians eat a lot, who build roads only on their own Facebook and give birth to children in America who ruin the health of the nation? ”
It seems to sound good, right? But I will explain to Pan Zelensky what these people are for. And they are needed in order to keep afloat the very system that was created in Ukraine. And one of the creators of this system was Igor Kolomoysky, who assured everyone that he rarely communicates with Zelensky and certainly does not patronize him. The tradition is fresh, but it is Kolomoisky and his associates who are putting into the mouth of Zelensky words about the need to fight corruption and embezzlement. What is needed for a successful fight against corruption? Right! She needs to be headed. Or? Or completely sweep away what they have, and try to at least reduce the volume of theft. It is to reduce it, because it will not be possible to completely eradicate this evil in Ukraine.
“We are accused of wanting to abolish lustration. In order for everyone to understand that we are not going to cancel the lustration, we suggest strengthening it, ”continued Zelensky.
This is good, this is a necessary thing. So what? Again, will you shove people through the trash can or will you betray the court? And who are you going to lyustrirovat, Mr. President?
And here is the preliminary composition: “I propose to add to the list of posts subject to lustration: the president of Ukraine, all people's deputies of Ukraine, the chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, members of the government, the prosecutor general, the chairman of the SBU, the heads of the antimonopoly committee and the state property fund, the chairmen of the state fiscal service and customs, secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, heads of defense enterprises holding posts from February 23, 2014 to May 19, 2019. This bill is only a public assessment of their activities. ”
Mr. Zelensky, one might say, took off the bat. Borzo, so powerfully took. But what an interesting perspective looms. It is believed that the current president himself and his entourage are far from the ideals of honest, decent and untainted people - to take Zelensky’s offshore money. And those who want to lyustrirovat newly elected president, there is a lot of compromising, able to prove that the slogan "Chose for fun" was so funny that even a wolf howl.
And what needs to be done to prevent this dirt from turning into a mudflow? Buy it from the owners, intimidate them, negotiate a barter? May be. Only here is too much work - and the work is impossible. Because there will always be people interested in another result. Therefore, all Zelensky's talk about lustration is nothing more than a pre-election PR move. His team now has many such moves. Banal, readable and unsuccessful.
