Christoph Waltz may return as a villain in the 25th James Bond film that is currently being shot. The German-Austrian actor has been seen on the set. Daily Mail received a tip from a visitor to the Pinewood Studios who saw the actor at work.
In 2015, Waltz took on the role of Blofeld, arch enemy of James Bond, for the first time. Then Specter , the most recent film from the Bond series, appeared. It remained unclear for a long time whether the actor would also play the role for the successor, but his presence on the set now seems to confirm that.
Waltz himself would have liked to keep the news still. The witness at the set says that the actor put his finger on his lips and whispered: "You have not seen me, I am not here."
Incidentally, Waltz is not the only actor who will play the role of villain in the film. Bohemian Rhapsody actor Rami Malek also takes on a role of villain. Furthermore, Daniel Craig returns as James Bond and Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Ben Whishaw and Léa Seydoux can be seen again.
Besides Specter , Christoph Waltz is also known for his roles in films such as Django Unchained , Inglourious Basterds and more recently Alita: Battle Angel .
The 25th Bond film that currently has no title is due on April 8, 2020.
