Emir Kusturica did not rule out the expansion of the number of countries participating in the festival Kustendorf CLASSIC

This year, Kustendorf CLASSIC is attended by musicians from Russia, Serbia and Belarus.

“If Gazprom Neft (sponsor of the festival - RT ) is ready for us to extend our activities to the whole of Eurasia, then I’m ready to do it,” said Kusturica.

The VII Kustendorf CLASSIC festival opened on July 10 with a performance by Russian viola player and conductor Yuri Bashmet. His program includes a competition of young performers, concerts of classical music with the participation of famous musicians and master classes.

The closing ceremony of the festival will take place on July 12th.
