At the age of 81, the People's Artist of the RSFSR Alla Pokrovskaya died. She devoted most of her life to the theater, taking part in more than 30 productions on the stage of Sovremennik. The actress was also shot at the cinema: viewers remember her by their roles in the films “The Rain of July”, “The diary of the school principal” and “The Fox Hunt”. In 1963, Pokrovskaya married actor and director Oleg Efremov. Their son, Mikhail Efremov, also chose the actor's path. In 1998, Pokrovskaya became a holder of the Order of Friendship, and 10 years later - the Order of Honor, which she was awarded "for services to the development of national culture and art." For many years, the actress taught at the Moscow Art Theater School.
