The Seoul Metropolitan Government announced an ozone warning on the west and northwestern regions at 2 pm on March 23.

There are 10 autonomous regions in total, and in the western part of the country, Mapo, Seodaemun, Eunpyeong-gu, and the southwestern regions are Yangcheon, Gangseo, Guro, Geumcheon, Yeongdeungpo, Gyeonggi and Gwanak-gu.

The ozone concentration of some measuring stations in these areas was 0.12 ppm or more per hour.

The city of Seoul will give a warning if the average ozone concentration is 0.12 ppm or more per hour.

If 0.3ppm or more, alarm is issued. If 0.5ppm or more, serious alarm is issued.

The city recommended that outdoor activities and vehicle operations be avoided in areas where the ozone warning was issued.
