Texas: Six dead in plane crash

In the US state of Texas, a plane crashed with six passengers on board. The accident happened early in the morning when the twin-engine plane was preparing to land at Kerrville Municipal Airport, according to the Federal Aviation Authority. The pilot and the five passengers are dead.

A journalist posted a photo on Twitter to show the accident site:

The airport is located approximately 110 kilometers northwest of the city of San Antonio. The accident site is currently being secured, said a spokesman for the Texas Public Security Bureau. The machine had started in the morning from an airport near Houston, it said. For whatever reason the plane fell to the ground, is still unclear.
