On November 21, the main state agency of the Syrian government, SANA, reported that the Americans used the forbidden, according to world conventions, weapons - white phosphorus on the territory of the country. The Western coalition led by the United States allegedly struck a blow at the Hadzhin settlement, which is located in the province of Deir ez-Zor - in one of those regions where separate groups of the IG that once rattled the whole world still function (I remind terrorist).

Note also that, according to the Syrians, it was not the first attack of the coalition with the use of prohibited white phosphorus in the current month. Americans used similar projectiles on November 5 in the New Market area of the same Hadjin. All, maybe, nothing, if the punches were pinpoint and only the terrorists would die from them. But, according to Syrian sources, the victims (wounded and dead) are among the civilian population.

I had occasion to be present during the shelling of phosphorus shells in the Donbass, when in the summer of 2014, the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked Semyonovka, which the militia defended. Despite the fact that in those cases it was not about white phosphorus, but about the so-called lighters, the impressions were quite vivid. Bunches of burning phosphorous shells spreading across the night sky are, of course, spectacular, but then it was not at all fun to look at the toxin-laden fighters with burnt lungs.

Among the hospitalized after these attacks, the APU were also older people who had no opportunity to leave their homes. Poisoning they got tough and looked creepy. I personally went to the front line to collect samples of phosphorus ammunition issued by Ukrainian artillery to pass on to human rights defenders - they sent them for examination, which later confirmed the presence of phosphorus in them. Representatives of the OSCE mission also came to the scene of the shelling, they were shown the results of the use of phosphorus by Ukraine, but the Europeans didn’t conduct their own investigation and didn’t hear their condemnation of such actions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

But back to the Middle East. The Pentagon, naturally, denies the use of phosphorus ammunition in Syria. Even under the condition that SANA can (for understandable reasons) give in some measure biased information, there is no reason to trust the statements and refutations of the Pentagon.

I don’t remember that the Americans, even caught by the hand in violation of international norms in any field - be it an elementary disregard of UN resolutions through diplomatic channels or interfering in the internal affairs of other states - recognized their own violations.

This was not, and it is hardly worth counting on the sincerity of the Pentagon now.

In my opinion, the use of white coalition by the Western coalition in Syria is perhaps a private case, but in a global sense it is symptomatic. The United States is stubbornly and irrevocably acting according to the principle “what is allowed to Jupiter, not allowed by the bull”. The total neglect of any civilizational principles in their case is not even a trend — it is a given.

But really scary, I think, by no means this. When we talk about the use of some physically tangible weapons, there is at least an opportunity to realistically assess the damage and think over (including) specific countermeasures. However, if we take the policy of destabilization that the United States is pursuing inside countries that it does not like, then we see that Americans are using more subtle matters as tools to achieve their goals, such as, for example, faith or ideology.

Even if we partially discard the conspiracy version, what exactly the IG was created by the Americans, then there is no reason to doubt their allied relations with other radical Islamist groups in Syria. To overthrow the regime of Bashar Assad and his government were formed (with the direct assault of the United States), in fact, no less radical than the IG, terrorist organizations - “Jaish al-Islam” or “Ahrar al-Sham”. Despite declarative statements on the fight against terrorism, Americans obviously do not disdain to use this very terrorism to achieve their own strategic goals.

Absolutely, the situation is similar in Ukraine - only instead of radical Islam, the western “partners” used the ideology of radical nationalism, mixed with the fascist yeast of the zapadensky past, as a tool. That is how Yarosh appeared with his “Right Sector” **.

From the point of view of tactics and the achievement of the result necessary for the United States (that is, bloody chaos), both of these tools — radical Islamism and nationalism — have undoubtedly turned out to be effective. However, it is worth, in my opinion, to recall one more rather simple factor, about which, it seems, is forgotten in America. To pursue his interests, you can, of course, start a fighting dog and set him on his opponents, only you have to remember: if he becomes infected with rabies, he will not care who he throws at - a random passer or owner.

* “Islamic State” (IG) - the organization is recognized as terrorist by the decision of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation dated December 29, 2014.

** “Right Sector” is a Ukrainian association of radical nationalist organizations, recognized as extremist and banned in Russia (decision of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation dated 11/17/2014).
