Pop star Madonna appears at the final of the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) in Tel Aviv on 18 May, according to a British PR firm. The 60-year-old singer will present two pieces, a well-known hit and a piece of her upcoming album, said the company Number 10 strategies.

Number 10 strategies represents the Israeli-Canadian businessman Sylvan Adams, who invited Madonna to the show. Adams will also bear the entire cost of the show - estimated at about 1.3 million US dollars (equivalent to about 1.15 million euros), the company said. Madonna, who is one of the most important representatives of modern pop music, is accompanied by about 65 crew members, including dozens of dancers.

In May 2018, Netta Barzilai ("Toy") won the ESC in Portugal for Israel. Therefore, the competition will be held this year in Tel Aviv - the semi-finals will be on 14 and 16 May, the grand finals on 18 May.
