During a lecture on "The Project of the Second Moment", which was held during the third session of the international photography festival "Xogar", Ramzi Haidar reviewed the suffering of the Syrians in refugee camps in Lebanon, presenting the details of their daily lives with a documentary film that reflects the forms of poverty and social disintegration they experience.

The visual content embodied the tragedy of the displaced Syrians and their everyday lives in tents made of fabrics that are not protected by the heat of the summer or the harsh winter cold, and the hopes and dreams of children returning to their homeland and their former lives in an atmosphere of peace and security.

Haidar touched on the effects of wars on people, noting that they leave traces that remain entrenched in their minds, especially in children who are deprived of the basic elements of life, leaving their childhood behind them on a journey of refuge in which many may lose their lives.

"The project" Moment 2 ", launched in cooperation with the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), targets Syrian and Palestinian children displaced from Syria, aged 7-12 years. It is a continuation of the" Moment "project, Lebanon in 2007, to employ the image and use it as a way in which children can express themselves in an artistic and peaceful manner. "

"The idea of the project is to distribute 500 one-time cameras to displaced children to train them to document their daily lives, discover their abilities and develop them. Children have a spontaneous look that is able to capture moments and document them through their cameras, allowing the world to see the situation of the displaced and their conditions through The eyes of young people, all the pictures they took evidence of their courage and assume more responsibilities ».
