++++ Attention, spoiler! If you do not want to know what's going on in the second episode of Season 8 of "Game of Thrones," you should stop reading. ++++

What happened: The Coalition of the Good Will prepares in Winterfell for the battle against the army of the dead. Jamie Lannister gets, contrary to what one might have guessed at the end of the first episode, no trouble with Bran Stark, but almost with Sansa and Dany. Brienne from Tarth takes him out again. Embarrassing situation, as Bran Jamie then again reminds of the abrupt end of his carefree childhood. Where love falls! Or something like that.

Sansa and Daenarys speak out and are just about to become best friends when Sansa remembers that there is still something between them: the rule over the North after the war. Not good for the mood.

The now also arrived Theon endeavors a quite idiosyncratic logic to put himself back into the service of the Starks: "Once I took you Winterfell, let me now defend it for you." Sure, why not! Davos has a sentimental moment with a little girl who suffers from the disease of gray-headed mice - just like Sharin, who had unfortunately been taught burnt sacrifices too early, who taught him how to read. The girl vows to defend the Winterfell tomb when the dead invade later, and given all the strong female characters who dominate this eighth season, it's quite likely that we'll see the little one in the clinch with a zombie again.

Oh well, the tomb: all too often this episode is about one character offering to hide from another when it really starts, but the other character insists on staying out and fighting. Bran, after all, has a good reason not to hide: he is the bait for the nightking, who wants to obliterate him and with him all the memories of mankind, that eternal night rule. But the villain must venture out of cover - and this is the only chance of the living: When the Oberschurke falls, then crumble all the creatures he has awakened. Can Ayra serve this final killswitch? After all, the special weapon ordered in the previous episode is already done.

In further news, Gray Worm and Missandei are planning a beach vacation, Arya Gendry commands to bed, Brienne is knighted by Tarth of Jamie and Samwell Tarley gives away his family sword to Jorah Mormont. And at the very end Jon still has a heart and tells Dany: I'm your nephew. Before the two can discuss this fact, death is upon us.

Scene of the episode: None. Like the first episode, this one is just waiting and sitting around to lead the big battle in Episode 3. You meet in the yard or by the fire, have more or less clever dialogues, go on and meet the next figure. After all, now almost the entire trailer to eighth season was completed, almost all key phrases from it have fallen. But what also means: Who has seen the trailer, this episode could have saved. She was like the first - only without Cersei and no dragons.
