Zamalek defeats Tusker and approaches the group stage in the African Champions League

The Egyptian football team, Zamalek, put forward its qualification for the round of 16 (groups) in the African Champions League after beating its Kenyan host Tusker 1-0 today, Saturday, in the first leg of the 32nd round of the tournament.

Zamalek owes this victory to Ashraf Bencharki, who scored the game's only goal in the 47th minute.

Zamalek needs to win or draw by any result in the return match that will be held in Egypt next week, while Tusker must win by two or more goals in the return match to qualify for the next round.
