Yunnan released the implementation plan for the reform of the college entrance examination and adopted the "3+1+2" model from 2025
Xinhua News Agency, Kunming, June 27 (Reporter Zhao Cailin) The reporter learned from a press conference held by the Information Office of the Yunnan Provincial Government that starting from the fall semester of 2022, Yunnan Province will start to implement the comprehensive reform of the college entrance examination, and from 2025, the general college entrance examination will be implemented. In the "3+1+2" model, higher vocational colleges implement the evaluation and admission method of "cultural quality + vocational skills".
The new plan mainly reforms the organizational form of the examination, the subject combination of the examination and the way of enrollment and admission.
The organizational form of the examination is from the current national unified college entrance examination subject in Yunnan Province and the unified proposition test organized by the Ministry of Education, and the reform is a combination of the national unified examination and the provincial organized examination.
The three subjects of Chinese, mathematics and foreign language in the new college entrance examination are still the national unified examination, while the organizational form of the six subjects of physics, history, ideology and politics, geography, chemistry, and biology has been reformed into a selective examination of ordinary high school academic level, unified by Yunnan Province. Propositions, examinations, and organization of marking papers are held at the same time as the unified college entrance examination, and each subject is tested separately.
The subject combination of the examination has been reformed from the two fixed combinations of liberal arts and science in the current college entrance examination to the new “3+1+2” mode of the new college entrance examination, and the combination mode has been increased to 12.
"3" means: Chinese, mathematics, foreign language 3 unified college entrance examination subjects; "1" and "2" are optional examination subjects, of which "1" refers to the preferred subject, choose 1 subject from physics or history; "2" Refers to re-election subjects, choose 2 subjects from ideology and politics, geography, chemistry, and biology.
The total score of candidates is composed of 3 unified college entrance examination subjects and 3 ordinary high school academic level selective examination subjects, with a full score of 750 points.
Among them, the original scores of Chinese, mathematics, and foreign languages are included in the total score of the candidates, and each subject has a full score of 150 points; in the selective examination, the original scores of the preferred subjects are included in the total score of the candidates, and the selected subjects are scored according to the grades. The total score is 100 points for each subject.
After the implementation of the "3+1+2" model, ordinary colleges and universities will implement "two bases and one reference" for admissions, that is, based on the national unified college entrance examination results and the academic level selective examination subject scores of ordinary high schools, and refer to the comprehensive quality evaluation of students.
Higher vocational colleges implement the evaluation and admission method of "cultural quality + vocational skills", which is conducted every spring before the unified college entrance examination.
