The integration of industry, university and research keeps the "root" of Yunhua

  Kaiyuan National Modern Agricultural Industrial Park is located in Yangjie Township, Kaiyuan City. It is the only national modern agricultural industrial park in the country with flowers as the leading industry. The industrial clusters of seedling breeding, high-quality flower planting, cold chain logistics, Internet sales, entrepreneurial incubation and other links have achieved a comprehensive flower output value of 1.464 billion yuan.

In order to retain the "roots" of Yunhua, the park has built 1.2 million square meters of greenhouses, 3456 square meters of tissue culture rooms, and 60,000 square meters of intelligent new varieties of seedlings, introduction and expansion of trial planting bases and 3,000 square meters of intelligentization. The provenance base of clonal flowers focuses on cultivating mid-to-high-end seedlings and new varieties of "Yunhua".

  At present, the visualization platform for the entire digital flower industry chain has been connected to the industrial park’s nearly 5 years of industrial data, the three-dimensional geographic information data of the industrial park, the latest aerial survey data of about 25,000 mu in the core area in 2021, the high-resolution 1x1 km grid weather data of the park, Variety data, production and sales data of 8 well-known enterprises, greenhouse IoT data, crop planting data, and comprehensive data of 3 pilot bases. The system has been deployed to the exhibition hall of Kaiyuan High-Efficiency Modern Agriculture Park.

  "Big data can not only help flower farmers predict the weather and market conditions, but also enable the park to achieve comprehensive and efficient management, and make overall planning for the varieties, cycles, and time to market for flower farmers." Digital industry chain, "flower economy" boosts rural revitalization
