For the 2021 College Aptitude Test (SAT) scheduled for December 3rd, you must wear a mask when taking the test to prevent COVID-19.
Candidates who do not have suspected symptoms of COVID-19 can use regular masks.

Lunch must be prepared at your own place in the test room with a personal lunch box and drinking water, and must be ventilated after eating.
The Ministry of Education and 17 metropolitan and provincial offices of education joint SAT management team held their first meeting today (16th) and confirmed the guidelines for the prevention of SAT test centers to prevent COVID-19.
The SAT management team establishes the SAT quarantine guidelines with the test management agency and KCDC experts, and divides it into a general testing room (a general testing room for asymptomatic examinees, a separate testing room for symptomatic examinees), a separate testing room for self-isolation, and a hospital testing room for confirmed patients. We provided detailed measures before, on the day of the test, and after the test.
According to the quarantine guidelines, candidates are not allowed to enter the test site building for quarantine on the preliminary convocation day on December 2, the day before the exam.
SAT guidance is conducted outdoors, such as in the playground.
If you are self-quarantine or confirmed, your immediate family member, relative, or homeroom teacher may receive the test ticket on your behalf.
You can enter the test center on the day of the SAT from 6:30 am.
After disinfecting hands, test takers are taken to a general laboratory if they are asymptomatic after measuring their body temperature and checking symptoms, and if they are symptomatic, they enter a separate laboratory.
Candidates must wear a mask while taking the exam.
In general laboratory, you can wear a general mask that does not have a KF (Korea Filter) function that can block fine particles.
However, valve-type masks or mesh masks that may cause infections may not be used.
If you do not wear a mask, you will not be able to enter the test center in principle.
In case of contamination, loss, etc., the KSAT asked to bring an extra mask.
In a separate test room in the general test center where the bequest boxer takes the test, and in a separate test site where self-quarantine takes the SAT, a KF80 or higher health mask must be worn.
Candidates are required to prepare their own lunch box and drinking water to keep their seats during lunch time.
Multiple examinees are not allowed to eat together, and the test room must be ventilated after lunch.
Partitions in front of desks that have been petitioned for withdrawal because they may interfere with the examination will be installed as planned.
An official from the Ministry of Education explained, "It is inevitable to install a partition to block the risk of infection."
In the case of self-isolation, you must contact the person in charge of self-isolation monitoring by phone in advance to obtain permission to go out on the day of the test and move to a separate test site by car.
If the vehicle cannot be moved, the manager will accompany you to the test site in a dedicated vehicle.
After the end of the test, test takers must leave according to the instructions and check the clinical symptoms of COVID-19 such as fever for 14 days after the test.
If symptoms occur, you can contact the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (☎1339, area code +120) or a public health center.
The test site school must appoint a quarantine officer in charge of major quarantine-related tasks and provide thorough training to test management personnel in advance.
Masks must be sufficiently prepared so that they can be paid to the examinee as well as the supervisor if necessary.
A maximum of 24 desks and chairs should be placed in the general examination room, and partitions should be installed in the front of the desks.
A separate test room for the bequest box should be installed in a separate location from the general test room, and the number of people assigned to each test room should not exceed four.
However, if there is a minimum distance of 2m between students, more than 4 students can be assigned.
A separate test site for self-quarantine people was guided by the SAT to prepare for the spread of infection in the second half of the year.
A separate test center must allocate a maximum of 4 students per test room, but if a distance of 2 meters is possible, it may exceed 4 students.
If a test taker is unable to take the test due to severe symptoms such as fever, the test may be stopped at the discretion of the health personnel.
There is also a hospital examination room for confirmed patients.

The answer sheet of the bequest box, self-quarantine, and confirmed candidate must be disinfected.
In addition to the KF94 mask, the supervisor of separate testing room, separate testing room, and hospital testing room must wear full body protective clothing and goggles.
There is a greater concern that faculty members will avoid overseeing the test due to the higher fatigue than other test rooms.
The SAT management team said it plans to put staff from the metropolitan and provincial offices of education as supervisors so that there will be no problem with the placement of supervisors.
Vice Minister of Education Park Baek-beom said, "(separately) 5 supervisors were assigned per test room, supervised for 2 to 3 hours per person, and guidelines were prepared to change. He said, "We asked for the professional and administrative positions of the Office of Education to participate first."
From one week before the effective date of the SAT, high schools and test center schools nationwide will switch to remote classes for quarantine.
Details of candidates and supervisors will be announced at the beginning of next month.
