Yen exchange rate rises to the 107 yen level 18:13 on June 9

On the 9th, the Tokyo foreign exchange market and the yen exchange rate rose to the level of 107 yen per dollar, and from the 8th, the yen appreciated by more than ¥1.50 and the dollar weakened.

The yen exchange rate as of 5 pm was 1.56 yen compared to the 8th, and the yen's appreciation against the dollar was 1 yen = 107.92 yen to 93 yen.

Against the euro, it was 2.13 yen from the 8th, and 1 yen = 121.58 yen to 62 yen, which was a weak yen against the euro. The euro was 68 dollars per euro = 1.1266 from the euro.

Market officials said, "The Fed, the central bank of the United States, has held a meeting to decide monetary policy from the 9th, and some observers have said that it will strengthen its easing stance, and long-term interest rates in the United States are falling. Before that, domestic export companies and overseas institutional investors strengthened the move to sell their dollars, leading to a stronger yen and a weaker dollar."
