“The lawyers of the Aver Lex lawyers' association learned that in order to exert illegal pressure on the workers of the association, the Security Service of Ukraine launched the persecution of several lawyers of the association, among which, in particular, one of its leading lawyers, Vitaly Serdyuk, who is the defender of Viktor Yanukovych,” - noted in the statement.
The association clarified that charges of high treason and other grave crimes are being prepared against lawyers.
Earlier, the former Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov was charged with treason due to agreements on the Russian fleet.
