“State Police are investigating the attack on writer Salman Rushdie before speaking at the Chautauqua Institute in New York State... Rushdie was stabbed in the neck and airlifted to a local hospital.
His condition is not yet known," the ministry said.
Along with this, it is specified that the interviewer, who was next to the writer, received a slight head injury, and the attacker was detained.
