A dramatic work accident occurred Monday in the town of Plérin near Saint-Brieuc (Côtes-d'Armor), reports

At the end of the morning, a 55-year-old man was in a lifting platform in the parking lot of a sign and signage company.

The tragedy occurred when the worker operated the machine which would have touched a very high voltage power line of 63,000 volts.

The 50-year-old was killed instantly.

A judicial inquiry must be opened to determine the circumstances of this accident.
