Beijing has successfully won the right to host the 2022 Winter Olympics.

  The successful hosting of the Beijing Olympic Games not only adds luster to the history of the Olympic movement, but also shows the world a vibrant national image.

In November 2013, five years after the successful hosting of the Beijing Olympic Games, the Chinese Olympic Committee officially agreed to submit a bid to the International Olympic Committee in the name of Beijing to host the 2022 Winter Olympics.

  On November 3, 2013, the Chinese Olympic Committee officially sent a letter to the International Olympic Committee to nominate Beijing as the host city for the 2022 Winter Olympics. Beijing will host the ice events and Chongli County, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province will host Snow events.

  On March 14, 2014, the International Olympic Committee announced that five cities, Beijing, China, Krakow, Poland, Oslo, Norway, Almaty, Kazakhstan, and Lviv, Ukraine officially bid for the 2022 Winter Olympics.

  On July 7, 2014, the International Olympic Committee announced that Beijing, China, Oslo, Norway, and Almaty, Kazakhstan were officially shortlisted as candidate cities for the 2022 Winter Olympics.

  On August 1, 2014, the logo of Beijing's bid to host the 2022 Winter Olympics was officially unveiled at the first plenary meeting of the Beijing Winter Olympics Bid Committee.

The logo takes the Chinese calligraphy "Winter" as the main body, and combines the abstract slides, ice and snow sports forms with calligraphy, and the two points below the "Winter" character merge into 2022.

On January 6, 2015, the delegation of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics Bid Committee walked into the IOC headquarters in Lausanne, Switzerland, and submitted the Bid Report on time.
