White House: Tests show Biden still has coronavirus

US President Joe Biden's doctor, Kevin O'Connor, said in a memo released by the White House that he tested positive for Covid-19 again Thursday, but he feels "very well."

O'Connor explained in the memo that Biden still had a "very infrequent" cough, but was improving.

Biden will remain in isolation.

The 79-year-old president was released from isolation on Wednesday last week after he tested positive for COVID-19 for the first time on July 21.

He tested positive again on Saturday in what O'Connor described as a "rebound" condition seen in a small percentage of patients taking the antiviral drug Baxilovid.
