According to the Japan Electrical Manufacturers' Association, the domestic shipment value of white goods in the first half of this year from April to last month was 1,369.6 billion yen, a decrease of 0.8% from the first half of last year.

Among the items with increased shipment value, air purifiers increased by 66.9% and hot plates increased by 52.7%, both of which increased significantly.
