When should a pilgrim consult a doctor?

The Ministry of Health and Community Protection has identified several symptoms. If one of them appears on the pilgrim before, during or after the Hajj period, he must consult a doctor immediately, to ensure that his health and the health of other pilgrims are not exposed to any health problems.

According to the ministry, the pilgrim must immediately consult a doctor if any of the following symptoms appear: “sore throat, fever, runny nose, muscle pain, chest pain, headache, cough and difficulty breathing, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, rash on the face.” or hands."

The ministry stressed that washing hands regularly while traveling for Hajj is one of the most important steps to protect the pilgrim from diseases caused by germs, as care must be taken to clean them before and after eating, after using the bathroom, after sneezing or coughing, before and after coming to the residence.
