While the composition of the new government is now known to all, major issues are already awaiting the ministers.
And they are particularly numerous in the economic sector with in particular the question of purchasing power but also the reform of pensions.
Three weeks after the re-election of Emmanuel Macron, the composition of the government has finally been unveiled.
Prime Minister Elisabeth Borne on Friday described her government as "parity and balanced".
What economic files await his ministers?

Extension of the tariff shield and food voucher
Purchasing power was the central theme of the presidential campaign.
Emmanuel Macron had promised that one of the first measures he would take would be to set up a food check to help the most modest households.
A bill on purchasing power should be presented in the wake of the legislative elections in early July.
A text which will include the establishment of the food check but also the extension of the tariff shield until the end of the year or the abolition of the audiovisual license fee.
These topics will be given priority.

Nuclear revival
And then there is the major and sensitive issue of pension reform.
It was to be carried out during the first five-year term, but the Covid crisis went through it.
A burning file which should occupy Elisabeth Borne the day after the second round of the legislative elections.
And finally another major subject: that of energy and ecological planning: promise of President Macron with the revival of nuclear power while Europe is trying to detach itself from Russian gas and oil imports.
For this, Elisabeth Borne will rely on two ministers: Agnès Panier-Runacher, in charge of energy, and Amélie de Montchalin who has been entrusted with ecology.
