Bjurhovda in focus
The police write on their website that it was a big effort with many involved parts of the police force, including helicopters and dog patrols.
The effort took place in several places in Västerås, but the focus was on Bjurhovda.
Seizure of weapons and drugs
Several people were detained and seizures of drugs, weapons and ammunition were made.
It was after house searches at several addresses where people who are part of an ongoing preliminary investigation into a serious drug crime live.
- From a police perspective, it is a good result.
In addition to individuals being deprived of their liberty and important seizures being made, valuable information has been added, such as which people are being socialized and vehicles are being used, says Sara Ekström.
